How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Currently, my life is different from how it was four months in that, my children now have a place to sleep. I always felt they were never safe especially when they had to walk in the dark while going to my neighbor's house. I am now happy because I managed to build a kitchen which they use as a sleeping room and now they are not exposed to any type of danger.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In the next four months, I believe I will have saved enough money to start a poultry farm. I plan to do this project because I have enough skills on how to take care of the chicken. I have also seen several people who made it in life through poultry keeping. I only need to have enough capital which I believe I will have accumulated in the next four months.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my life ever since Give Directly came into my life is that I finally built a kitchen that also acts as a sleeping room for my children. I also bought a cow that has already started producing milk. This has reduced my expenses because I no longer buy milk. My children are also safe and we don't feel like a bother to my neighbors. I thank Give Directly for coming to my life and choosing me as one of the beneficiaries.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I believe my living standards will have improved in the next six months because I will be earning an additional source of income through the poultry business. I know the business will have picked by then because I will have done enough marketing and learned the ropes of the business.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in daily life is the ease I have gotten after I cleared all my daughter's fees. I have the time to do my chores without having to work in people's fields to raise the fees since I managed to clear all the fees at once.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months,I hope my business will have picked up and that means my lifestyle shall have improved and that of my children. Raising school fees will not be a problem anymore.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Were it not for GiveDirectly, people,i.e the rich would still be queuing in my compound to ask me to work in their farms so that I raise my daughters fees. This is a thing of the past.
Do you have any new goals that you didn't have before receiving the transfer?
My new goal is to plaster my house that is currently made of mud.
