What did you spend your first transfer on?
When I received my first transfer, I spent it on food and school uniforms for my 3 children in a primary school. In fact, this money reached us at the right when we needed it. We were facing acute food shortage and besides this, education of my children was a major concern too since they couldn't be allowed to stay in school with tattered uniforms.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my money, I felt very surprised. This is something that we thought couldn't reach us since many people had a lot of different opinions about it-some saying that Give Directly wouldn't give money since they were just tantalizing us.
