How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My son didn't have a house previously and he was forced to sleep in my neighbours home. It was risky and inconveniencing to let him walk at night. I'm happy and I feel proud he doesn't have to sleep in neighbours houses anymore because I constructed a house for him using the previous transfers. I am glad we won't be bothering my neighbour also.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
Currently, I rely on both subsistence farming and cattle rearing as my main source of income. I feel the income I earn from it isn't enough to sustain my family because whatever I have been harvesting is not enough for family consumption. I, therefore, have an additional goal to start large scale farming for commercial purposes. Based on the harvest I got this season, I believe this is workable because I was able to get a good harvest after using the right farm inputs. l want to fully invest my coming transfers on farming. I know with this I will be able to reach far and accomplish most of my goals.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer is the comfort and financial stability I have experienced since Give Directly came into my life. Nowadays I have been able to easily meet most of my family's needs. Through the transfers, I was able to plough a big farm. I was also able to buy the necessary farm inputs which enabled me to get an improved harvest. The harvest has since sustained my family for a whole year now. I feel secure and stress-free because I now have means of generating income even after Give Directly have finished their project in our village.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months of my life, I expect to have executed my plan of large scale farming for commercial purposes. I have already started saving money for this purpose. I know if all goes well I will achieve very many great things. This will earn me additional income thus I'll be able to comfortably most of my family's long term goals.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
I am so happy that within the last four months I have been able to build a new house for my kids against all odds. I started by assembling a few iron sheets that I had been buying every month when I get transfers from the organization. I also bought a few pieces of timber from a close relative. Other materials such as nails and sand were locally available so getting them was never a hard job. I am glad that by Gods blessings, the house finally materialized and now my kids have a house they call their own.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I have a short term goal which is to save cash every month for the next few month so that I have good amount that will envbale me to cement both the interior and exterior pasrts of my house. I currently live in a mus-walled house. The problem with living in such a house is that when it rains, the walls are washed off theerby making the walls more weak with every rainy day. The eventual misfortune is that the house may easily collapse, and that is not what I want for myself.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I have used the money so wisely so far and I think it has brought a lot of changes in my life. The most significant change is that I have constructed a new house for my kids who never had a house of their own. Initially, the kids used to sleep in a relatives place which is a few miles from where I live and for me I was never happy seeing the kids going to sleep away from our home. I feel so comfortable seeing the children having a house of their own where they stay comfortably.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect to make a few savings so that I can be able to buy modern seedlings and fertilizers that I will use during the oncoming planting season. Once that is done, I should be able to realize a a bumper harvest at the end of the season so that my family can be food secure. Before I started receiving cash from the organization, I never used fertilizers because their prices are so high that I could barely afford to buy. Going forward, I am even thinking of getting additional acres of land from people who will be willing to lease them out so that I can be able to add more farm production at the end of every season.
