Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was home when I received the transfer. I had always planned on buying a cow but had no means, therefore I can safely say the first transfer came at the right time. I was very happy when I received the transfer and I was able to buy a cow and some iron sheets for my house whose roof was leaking heavily. I always thank God and pray for GD.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Before receiving GD's transfer, life was yough and as a farmer, it was even tougher because the weather had been sunny lately. My field was not as fertile as it should be but with the manure that I collect, the harvest is very promising and I think I will have enough to consume and spare enough to sell at the market. Buying a cow and renovating my house's roof was what bothered me the most.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
Upon receiving LS1, I bought a cow for 300 $ and used the rest of the money plus some money I had put aside to buy iron sheets to renovate my house's roof. I desperately wanted to have a cow because I see a cow as a very reliable source of income. I will sell the milk that I get and collect the manure for my field.

What is the happiest part of your day?
Nothing has made me happy because my mother died in 2 months ago, and I am living in miserable life of poverty
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My wife with 3 children had left me because of poverty, Living alone and working alone for $2.5 per day in construction, I can't afford everything I want for living because I am supposed to use much effort in that job. My house is damaged, some clay tiles are broken, this has affected my life and sometimes I got a cold and went to the health center instead of working
