Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In the next four months, I would want to save my transfers so that I can be able to start a cloth business. I would want to have a source of income which will sustain my needs long after the transfers are done.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life since I started receiving these transfers is that I have always had my school needs met in time. Right now, I have new school uniforms and books ready for next year. This has been the case ever since I started receiving these transfers. I have always prioritised school requirements above any other thing whenever I get my transfers. As a result, I have given my parents an easy time paying my school fees. I have never been sent home for the whole year because of school fees arrears. I will always commit myself to give my very best in school so that I can pass well because I have all I need for school.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
My life will be different in that I will always have school requirements on time. As I have always done with the previous transfers, I will ensure I first meet all my school needs with my transfers and then save the rest to start the business I have been dreaming of. The income from the business will boost our income and help my parents in providing for family needs. I know in the next six months, I will have saved enough to start the business. The income will also help me raise money to further my education after secondary school.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from how it was four months ago in that I am no longer a bother to my parents on matters upkeep. Since I started receiving my monthly transfers, I have been able to use the money in purchasing basic needs that I need to make my life in college comfortable. This has given me much joy and ample time to concentrate and do well in my studies.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal in the next four months is to make sure that I start a small business of selling clothes or running an mpesa shop that will help me earn some money. I am almost done with my studies and I will really appreciate if I have something to keep me busy as I look for other meaningful jobs.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is the fact that I have been able to pay a bigger part of my college fee. I have been able to help my parents in paying part of the school fees using the monthly transfers that I receive from GiveDirectly. I feel some sense of responsibility in me since I have also been able to buy some of the small basic requirements for my studies without having to seek for help from my parents like I used to do before.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
My expectation in the next six months is that I shall have started a clothing selling business. I am almost done with my college education and I would not want to idle around or depend on anyone for even the most basic needs that I would have obtained myself. I want to run a business that will allow me to depend on myself as I look for better jobs.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My parents do not have a reliable source of income yet they have a lot of responsibilities. Since Give Directly started giving me the transfers I have been independent since I can meet most of my of my needs. I feel happy because I do not bother them like I used to before I started receiving these transfers. I feel like I have given them an ample time to focus on our other siblings and settle other pressing goals.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I have been saving part of my monthly income in a merry-go-round. Therefore, for the next four months my additional goal is to use the money I have saved in this Sacco to start an Mpesa shop. We only have Mpesa shop in this village which is not effective because they it doesn't operate fully. Most of the time it is closed which makes me think that our community suffers a lot by going far in search of an Mpesa shop
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
Being independent and responsible is the biggest achievement I have ever since Give Directly came into my life. I just cleared secondary education a year ago and I didn't have any source of income. I used to rely on my parents for everything but I'm happy this is not the case anymore because through the transfers I get from Give Directly I have been able to meet my needs on my own. I no longer feel like a bother. I feel at peace since I am not obliged to ask for personal items from parents. This is the biggest difference in my daily life.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months of my life i expect to have started a business. I know this organization will not be here forever and since they have empowered me, I need to think of how to invest and still sustain myself even after they have finished their project in this village. Currently opening an Mpesa shop is best investment I can think of. I plan to save enough money for the next six months then use it to open the shop.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Apart from not bothering my parents for money, unfortunately, I do not have any other difference. The relief I have given them is just overwhelmingly good as they are able to do other projects and also take care of my other siblings, so well without having to put pressure on their little incomes.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal is to start a business when I complete college. With this business, I will be able to support my family to educate my siblings who are still in lower levels of education. This probably I am hoping to achieve in the next four months God willing GiveDirectly continues sending me the transfers.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I am now self-reliant. I do not have to call my parents to ask them for almost all the basics needs. There is some relief now they feel when I depend on my self. They only need to take care of my other younger siblings and not me as I can afford most of the basics I need in school.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I expect my business to be up and running. From this, I will be making more profits that will help me support my parents too. This I am planning to start off immediately even before I complete college. I want to support my parents and also ensure my financial security in the future is more secure.
