How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I'm working hard by settling more traps in the bush to kill animals and be able to educate my children since I wasn't fortunate to acquire an education. I'm doing everything possible for them, and I believe in a few years I will become a proud parent.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
The staff always talks to us in a polite manner. They abide by their policy throughout the entire process by not accepting any gife from us in the form of appreciation.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
If my spouse and I are qualify to receive the transfer we want to buy zinc and build a new house. The reason we want to build a new house is that the one we're in have problem, it's old and when rain fall sometimes water can flash all in our room which is not good for the well being of our kids and even ourselves.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the last six months what brought me joy and happiness was I stay alive in good health and celebrated the independence day (July 26) with my family.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My greatest challenge right now is that we are unable to provide food for ourselves doing the planning of crops season till the harvest season. Meaning, doing this season all our focus can be on the buying of seeds to plant and paying manpower to do the planning of crops for us so, there can be no time to hustle else where untill this season is over. That's why the provision of food for I and my family can be very hard and challenging doing this season.
