How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Life is different because I feed better, dress better, and I will be able to cultivate more food with the oxen acquired. Before, it would be difficult to plough more gardens for food due to lack of oxen especially during rainy season.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly has done well changing people's livelihood by giving them money to build iron sheet roofed house, acquire livestock, buy household items like solars for lighting at night. I don't see anything it hasn't done well.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
My second transfer was spent to buy a bull at Ugx 1,270,000, completed the purchase of a plot of land, repaired the oxen plough tools, and bought a few household items like bed-sheets.
