Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was very happy and thankful when the money agreed. I could not believe it and I did not waste time but went right away to collect the money. I had problems now everything that worried me is a distant memory as I now have security.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
My life changed now there are no problems everything is good. I am happy with food and a good place to sleep.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought iron sheets for my house and I also bought a small solar panel so that is should not have difficulties charging my phone so He we have no electricity here. I also bought a mattress and blankets since I did not have a good place to sleep at night. I bought my children and myself some clothes as it had been long since we had good clothes. I managed to also buy fertilizer and food for my home.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
The money means a safe and warm home for us in this coming rainy season. We shall use the money to buy beddings, house utensils and food. The other money will go towards finishing the house.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Mornings are very productive for me to do housheold chores.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The death of my husband is one of the biggest hardships I have ever faced as it meant loss of financial security as he was the breadwinner.
