How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been because I am happy to have a wife and managed to provide dowry.This has relieved some stress from me.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, givedirectly has done well giving us money and happiness through enabling us to acquire items we never imagined to own in our life time; and there's nothing it hasn't done well.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to buy a bull, and took the balance to my in-laws as dowry.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily is that I'm now able to buy clothing for both my wife and the baby.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my money, I became very happy because my plan to build my own house had come true.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to pay medical bills for my wife which costed 80,000ugx, making bricks for my house at 150,000ugx,clothing at 100,000ugx. I'm planning to use the balance of the money to build my house.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this transfer is going to enable me construct a better house because the one am currently occupying is leaking by the roof and it is in a dangerous condition.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is usually on sunday when i go to church and hear the good news from the bible which keeps me moving.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i have faced is the problem of my in-laws demanding for bride price and in my current condition, i cant afford it. This bothers me quite often.
