What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on ploughig my land by hiring a tractor and then buying high grade seeds to plant on the land. I then paid school fee for my eldest daughter who goes to Nyangoma school for the deaf. I then spent the rest of the transfer on buying food for my family.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my transfer I knew that my life was going to change for the better considering all the information we had been taught during the village barazas and I saw all those coming to pass using the give directly transfers.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face currently is paying school fees for the children and how to feed my family since I only depend on the small scale business that can't sustain us.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when I am through with the day's activities. This is when I can seat down,relax and chart with my family members reflecting on how the day was.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money will bring a great change in my family as a whole. I will use the money to build a new house which has been my long term dream. I will also use the money for farming activities and build a toilet. I also have a deaf child who is in bording school and paying her fees has been hard for me. I plan to use part of the money to pay her school fees.
