How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is currently different in that, I have built a iron roofed house which I did not have any hope of building. Prior to receiving these cash, I used to share the same house with my co wife which wasn't enough for both of us plus our husband. Secondly, I was able to buy some household items like beddings, clothes and utensils. In the past, I used to sleep on the a very old mattress laid on the floor but I thank GiveDirectly that I now sleep on a bed and a new mattress.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, I have never seen or witnessed any organization that sends unconditional cash to recipients. GiveDirectly is a unique organization because they don't dictate on expenditure rather gave us liberty and freedom to spend our transfers based on our needs. Everything went on well with me and the whole community.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my money on completing a iron roofed house which I had started with the first transfer.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money will mean that I will build a permenent house for my self. This is because, currently, I share a house with my co wife which is very inconviniencing.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am usually happy after having lunch. That is because, every morning I wake up, I worry a lot a bout what my family will feed on. After having lunch, it gives me hope of having super as well.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced is that I do not have adequate land to facilitate crop cultivation that would support the family. I keep on hiring land from neighbours every year, which is very costly and results in inadequate food at the household.
