What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer to buy iron sheets, timber and nails which I have used to build the house am currently living in. The remaining amount, I spent to pay laborers who were building my house and also I bought furniture since I did not have decent seats.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
If I would not have received the transfer, I would not have manged to pay school fees for my child, I would not have built a three roomed house and also I would not have bought furniture which I now have. Thank you GD for the transfer
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly did well in sending me transfer which has uplifted my living standards. I have not seen anything that GD has not done well.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my transfer on buying building materials which were used in building my new house since my other house was old and leaking. I then spent some on paying school fee for my child who is in secondary school. I then spent the rest on buying food for my family and we have been feeding very well of late.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I am at peace because my child can attend school daily without being sent away for school fee because I settled her fee for the term thanks to give directly and the transfer they sent me.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on buying cushions for my seats and spending the rest on fish business. I am so happy to be having a source of income despite the fact that I am physically challenged.
What are you planning to spend your upcoming transfer on?
I am planning to build a house then buy a calf with my upcoming transfer payment.I am looking forward to building and relocating from an old house with leaking roof.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
My first plan is to use part of the transfer to start a small business of selling fish. Secondly, I plan to use another part of the transfer to buy two sheep, that would be as investment for my family. Lastly, I plan to use the remaining amount to build a bigger house because this one is small, and is in a bad condition.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I am very proud of is, having educated my first son up to form four, using savings from my small business.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced is providing food for my family, due to inadequate income.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the afternoons, when I am listening to radio, after having lunch.
