How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that, I now sleep in a better house compared to the one I used to sleep in before. I am also proud because I have bought another bull that is now helping the one we had to plough land which enables early planting of crops.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Give Directly has empowered poor households to live a better life. On the other hand, GD needs to support projects that were started but not completed by the beneficiaries.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
When I received my second transfers, I bought a bull to be used with the one we had already to support in plouging. The balance of the transfers, I used for completing the construction of the permanent house which we are now staying in.
