How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Before receiving the money, I wanted to build a house, I have managed to accomplish what I wanted. I don't have new goals
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
We are able to sleep in good homes and we can eat healthy food, all thanks to Give Directly. I see nothing that Give Directly does wrong.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spent most of the money on buying food.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I am grateful to Give Directly for this money because it will help me a lot especially finishing building my house. I want to buy cement to plaster the house and i also want to buy doors and door frames. These things are expensive and it has been hard for me to afford. Completing the house would cost around K100000 and with this money i am sure i will manage.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the of day is in the afternoon because that is the time i usually have my first meal of the day. I can not afford to have breakfast as well because i dont have enough food. When i eat i know i can go back to the garden with all the energy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I lack food for my family because we depend on maize flour for our meal but i only have 1 bag left. I need at least 5 bags to reach next harvesting period. I usually skip some meals so that what we have can take us more days.
