How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I was able to build a two roomed iron roofed house. This would have not been possible had I not received the cash transfer because before the cash transfers, I was sleeping in a grass thatched house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly does well by sending very many people the cash transfers that have saved them from famine. The cash transfers have empowered many households. On the other hand, personally I do not see any wrong doing on the side of GiveDirectly.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to purchase cement , sand, a metallic door, two metallic windows worth UGX1,300,000. The balance of UGX300,000 was spent to pay the builders.
