How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Currently, I have a means of paying the casual workers to help on my farm as extra manpower which helps in generation of income as we solely depend on farming as a means of provision. I also paid for my NHIF monthly payment as a way of covering my self medically. I also paid school fees for my child who had some outstanding arrears that needed to be cleared before they closed to school and he had the chance to stay in school and study.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I have a new goal of saving and venturing into livestock farming as a remembrance of the transfers from GD and the financial security of the family.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the past four months has been the ability to raise money to pay casual workers who worked on my farm which helped in improving my yields. I do not have to work on the farms by myself as this is so tedious and takes up most of my time. I am able to work less now and have time to concentrate on other projects too. I am now able to harvest more proceeds that help in the generation of income for the upkeep of the family.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I expect to save the transfers towards buying the goat that I will rear to help in financial security of the family. I shall have bought the goats that will help me venture into livestock rearing which is a way of getting income whenever we have financial constraints.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Four months ago, I was struggling in the farm, land preparation, wedding, and so forth that required a lot of money, now I enjoy the fruit of my labour. I am sure of getting KES 600 in a day from the farm produce, that is my banana plantation. There is also market demand for that. I have over three hundred plants.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I have a goal of buying another ox- plough, and add four more oxen to assist in ploughing. I remain with one year to the end of the program, and I need to sustain my farming activities to a more modern and also in a larger scale than now. This will help me in food security sustainability as well as cash flow for the family.

The biggest difference is that my life and the entire family have changed, I am capable of getting credit facility from Women trust bank and be awarded because I normally use the transfer to repay it. In the past, this was something which was seldom to happened. We are also capable of getting good harvest from our farms, because the land which used to be idle, could be put into use.

In the next six months, I expect my life to change because by that time, I will be having economic income from various sources. I have livestock, some bananas are being harvested, and some are flowering that will be ready after sometimes.
