I spent my second transfer on buying a cow 17,000 KES, ploughed my farm 12,000 KES, bought a sofa-set 7,000 KES, paid school fee 10,000 KES, one sac of maize 3,000 KES, food 500 KES .
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that my child is finally going to write his final exam in secondary school. Before I received the transfer from Givedirectly, he had been out of school for lack of school fees and this meant that without the money he would not write his final exam.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
Am planning to use part of the money to pay school fees for my two children in secondary school, then use the remaining to start up a shop business.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is I was able to take and train my two boys in vocational training to learn welding until they graduated.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship is I have two children in high school and paying school fees for them is very difficult since I don't have a stable income and am also a widow.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is when am working on my farm land.
