What did you spend your second transfer on?
I bought a Cow worth 700,000 UGX and I also cleared my debts that were worth 900,000 UGX with my second transfer.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly did good to provide us money which for instance helped me to clear my debts.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is healthy now and I am very happy. Before I had alot of debts to clear and I could not afford basic necessities.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer 600,000 ugx on reclaiming my land that I had leased some time back. I also bought two cows at 500,000ugx each that will reproduce in the near future and will help me to bring in money. I then lastly spent the balance to buy my children school uniforms and feeding them.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I recieved my money, I felt very happy and joyous. I lamented on God's goodnes, thanking and blessing GD.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I feel the burden of lacking enough land for cultivation and my children continuity to study has been lifted. This is because I got my land back and I now have my cows that will reproduce and I will sell some in case need arises.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i have faced is lack of money to carry out surgery for my son who has become disable after a quinine treatment
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when my children are at home together with me.This children make me happy after they have eaten supper.They praise and sing for me songs thanking me for getting them food to eat.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means buying a piece of land and livestock for my household.
