What did you spend your third transfer on?
I saved the previous transfers then put them together after which bought a piece of land and built an iron roofed home on it then installed electricity.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I now have a home. My parents left me when I was very young and no one was ready to give me any piece of land to establish a home so I was only staying in a rental house at the nearby trading center. With the GD activities in my community, I'm good to go, I have a home, in fact I have a peace of mind.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, what GD does well is that it has absolutely changed the lives of the very needy in the community. On my side, the approach GD used to implement its program is the best ever in my community.
