Due to climate change and soil erosion which exacerbates soil's loss of nutrients, i failed to harvest enough yield for my family, thus there was impending hunger and i had no source of income to cover for the deficit. The meaning of receiving money from Givedirectly is that the organisation wants to improve livelihoods of poor people so that they are able to get their needs such as food, good shelter, clothes and or start a business

The happiest part of my day is evening because it is time we come together as a family and have fun

The biggest hardship i have faced in my life is living in a shelter which leaks during rainy season. I have been living in this house for a long time and there was no hope that i could have a good one
