What does receiving this money mean to you?
Our plan is to build our own house, and send our children to school. Building a new house for our family will be the best thing we will ever do for ourselves. It's over 20 years since we constructed our mud house. At that time we were very small in number, and the house was okay for us. Now I have over 4 children here and 3 are in Monrovia with relatives due to the size of the house. The mud is falling of the house due to leakages in the roof. When it's raining, the get flooded causing cold that make us sick. So, building a new will make our lives better and we will not get sick everytime. * We also will as use some to of the money to send our children to school. We thought to do this because, with the education of our children, we believe that nthey can take care of us tomorrow when
What is the happiest part of your day?
Our happiness come as a result of hearing about this program. At least with this we know if we're qualify we will be able to build our house and send our children to school, and feed ourselves. With the number of problems facing us,, especially with food, a better sleeping place, children school, hearing about Give Directly program we were very Happy. We believe with this money our challenges can be reduce, and our children can have a better house, educating our children as well as provide for our family.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Our main challenges is getting money to find food for the family and to send my children to school. Since last year things it has been difficult getting money to support my family with food. The farm we're making is not producing to help us get the money we want to be able to provide enough food for the family. The land is poor, causing the crops produce little. It's difficult to sell and get good money to settle this problem. Many day the children go to bed with insufficient food. Our children were put out of school this year due lack of money, just like the years before. We don't have money to send children to school. With money we believe the problem for food and school fees will be solved.
