What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on purchase of a bull at 425,000ugx, a cow at 310,000ugx, i paid mortgage of 500,000ugx for an acre of land and used the balance for food.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Give Directly did well to give us financial support that enabled us to meet our needs.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that i have been able to marry my wife and acquire an acre of land unlike before when i just had a small plot of land.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to buy a mattress, bed sheets, clothes for my family, a bicycle, hired land to garden, and food stuff.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment i recieved my money, I felt so happy. I was woken up by celebrating ululations outside at night, and that is how I realized money has been sent.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is i can now sleep comfortably and food is readily available, unlike before.

My biggest hardship in life was when I failed to complete secondary education because there was no money for paying school fees
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the afternoon when I have completed my garden work, waiting for food from my wife while playing with my daughter

Receiving this money means a great change towards increasing my households income
