What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
When we receive this money, we will firstly finish our house by plastering it. I would like a bicycle as these eases movement, then we will buy a bed and mattress and livestock. An amount will go to fertiliser and the remaining money will buy food and clothes.
What is the happiest part of your day?
We live off hand to mouth so when we find work that gives us money for food then we're happy. Aside that, there isn't anything that makes us happy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
We are struggling with poverty. We don't have food, clothes, good sleeping place and a decent house. All these need money. We do farm but the sun is too harsh here it dries our crop. With good weather and fertiliser, we harvest up to 5 bags of maize which is still not enough. Wage jobs are hard to find as most pay peanuts taking advantage of us.
