How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The new goal I have set before receiving this transfer is to buy 3bundles of 32 gage white zinc along with 4 bags of white cements to start building my house. I am living in my mother house along with 6 children. At my age, living in parent house is a shame for me. Thanks to Givedirectly for the cash support. I am overjoyed to see myself planning to build my own house from Givedirectly kind guesture. I believe that with my transfer from Givedirectly, my dreamed to build house will soon come to pass.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Givedirectly is actually doing well. Givedirectly has helped empowered families financially to start building houses. Givedirectly staffs do not segregate recipients. Givedirectly had introduced mobile money systems to many recipients in this village. Some recipients never knew about mobile but through Givedirectly cash transfers, they are now awared. Thanks to Givedirectly for all the great job done. There is no system in Givedirectly that needs improvement.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I am planning to spend my most recent transfer to buy 3bundles of 32 gage zinc along with 4bags of cement. I want to build 4 bed rooms dirt house with sticks and later plaster it with concrete cements. Part of this transfer will be kept in saving to pay 3 cashual workers to start building my house . I really appreciate Givedirectly for empowering me financially. I believe that few months from now, my dreamed to own a house will soon come to pass.
