How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I will nolonger sleep in my small quarters i will have a house that is well built and all this is thanks to GiveDirectly. I would not have manged to rebuild my house in time as i have no means of sourcing money for materials.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion i believe that GiveDirectly did everything well because all the process i went through were fair and clear.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
My house fell down with the last rainfall and i was forced to move into my one room boys quarters with all my belongings. I have spent all of my transfer on rebuilding my house and i have manged to pay the builders and buy all the materials needed.

I plan to start building a proper house. I have already bought bricks and any time from now construction work will commence.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I am a happy person to be in this program and I am grateful. I had plans to renovate my house such that my son assisted me in buying iron sheets. The remaining thing to be bought was timber. I am happy that I will be able to buy timber using the money and renovate my house. The money will also be used to buy food and some kitchen utensils. I will also buy livestocks, goats to be specific so that I can start livestock production.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am happy when my family is all home and we share stories.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The main problem is a house. My house is not in good condition. The house leaks when the rain falls. It will all be sorted when I receive my transfer.
