Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My next goal is to continue to pay for my medical insurance. This is important because it helped me to offset a huge medical bill when my wife gave birth recently.

The biggest difference in my daily life is on paying school fees for my child. The transfers enabled me to move my child to a better performing school where there is higher quality learning. With this, her education is going on well. I am so happy to have given my girl a better opportunity to shape her life.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I am happy to see my child go to the school of her dream. She is doing so well given that this is where she loves schooling. I put a lot of emphasis on giving her a good education. In the next six months, she will be doing better academically than at the moment. This is my biggest hope for the near future.

My goal is to continue paying school fees and shopping for my child to give her a good start in her life. I will be using the money I received to ensure that all her education needs of school fee payment and education materials are met on time.

The biggest difference in my daily life is that I have cleared school fees payment for my child. It has given me a lot of peace knowing that this was the final month of the school calendar, my child's teachers would have rally pestered me with many calls and letters seeking the payment. How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I will have been able to have paid school fees for my child for the entire year in full. My child will be doing well in school and unlike this year, I will not have a debt towards the end of the year. I want my child to know that is because of this support from GiveDirectly. Paying school fees on time will strengthen the school and the services it offers to my child. I really want to expect that I will not be a problem at the school because I will have paid all that is due to them using part of the transfers.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from how it was four months ago in that I nowadays pay my National Hospital Insurance Fund contribution on time. Due to this, I no longer pay penalties.
My life is currently different from how it was four months ago in that I nowadays pay my National Hospital Insurance Fund contribution on time. Due to this, I no longer pay penalties like before. I value my family's health and I am always determined to pay the monthly contribution towards this insurance. Due to my unreliable source of income, I would at times fail to pay which always led to penalties. I am really happy now because though my wife is sick and admitted at the hospital, she has been able to get the required treatment and the insurance will cater for all the bills.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
The additional goal for the next four months is to buy some building materials to use in building a permanent house for my house. Currently, I am living in a timber walled house that is in a bad state as termites have started destroying the walls from the ground. I have always wanted to build another one but due to lack of enough funds, I have been forced to endure. I am planning to save my monthly transfers for the next four months and start the building process. Finally, there is hope to now build a permanent house and I cannot thank this organization enough.

The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer is that my family now feeds well. I have been using my transfers to improve my farming activities and this has led to a continuous supply of enough food for my family. Through these transfers, I am now able to buy the necessary farm inputs and this has increased the harvest from my farm. I have been able to sell some of the products and use the money to do several projects that were pending. I expect my life to change in the next six months in that I will have started buying building materials. I believe that I will have bought sand soil, gravel and bricks. How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Currently, I live a happy parent since I no longer get worried that my children can be sent home for school fees. Before I was living a life full of stress and I couldn't afford to get enough money for paying school fees for my children. Now am well and am gaining weigth since I do not have too many issues bothering me.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
Apart from being able to pay school fees in time, The little money which I get from the casual jobs I would now start to save and start a business to support my family. I am still planning on a good business which can earn me some good money.

The biggest difference in my life since I started receiving these transfers is that I have been able to pay school fees for my children in time. I used to really struggle by seeking casual jobs to raise money to pay school fees for my children who are in secondary school. Sometimes Its hard to find a job to do to get the money. Their performance was affected because they were sent home regularly for school fees. I am very glad that I have cleared the major part of their balance and they are studying well in school. Their performances have improved which makes me very happy.

I expect my life to have changed in the next six months because I will have plenty of food for my family because I will have harvested maize and beans that I just planted with part of my transfer. I will not be spending much on buying food.

Do you have any new goals that you didn't have before receiving the transfer?
My new goal is to buy more heifers which with time will mature and will have more livestock within my homestead. Therefore, I would start generating income though the sale of milk.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Currently, before I go to my work place I spent some time feeding my cow which I really enjoy doing it. Every day this brought me happiness and thank Give Directly for the transfers which enabled me to buy the animal.

Now having one cow in the farm I expect I would be having another cow in my farm in the next six months.

I have seen a great difference in my life, having spent GD money to buy a heifer I am happy to see everyday as I had no cow in my compound before. I believe with time and calves I will have milk to feed my family and get some for sale.
