What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent the whole my third transfer on building my own compound.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I have managed to get most of the things I needed but I couldn't afford. Like I now my own compound with a permanent house, I no longer stay in a leaking house. This makes me feel so proud and independent.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Gd does well by giving cash directly to the needy without any restrictions on how spend it.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my transfer on buying building materials which were used in the construction of my new home. I decided to move from my in law's home to my own to be a little independent.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that my children go to sleep in their own separate bedroom after a built a new two bed roomed house. They no longer have to sleep in the sitting room which was very uncomfortable because they were forced to sleep late and wake up early because we use the room to entertain our guests.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
Firstly, we are planning to use part of the transfer to build a bigger house because this is smaller for us. Secondly, we plan to use another part to buy a cow that would give us milk in the future. Lastly, we intend to to use the remaining amount to start a small business of selling maize.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I am very proud of is that from my casual work's savings, l managed to buy chairs.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced in my life is in consistent income that has not enabled me to provide for the basic needs of my family and also to start a small business.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when we all have supper together as a family.
