What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
Most of the money was spent on buying new tiles to put on the roof, the total cost of the tiles was 170k.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
We are now a happy family before we were living in a bad house but now with the financial support, we were able to renovate the whole roof and walls of our house. I was able to buy food and clothes for my family. Without the donation we couldn't be able to do all the things .I thank Givedirectly for coming in our village my life is better now.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
It was in the morning around 8am and I was farming sweet potatoes. I was full of joy and smiles. I immediately went to our house to share the news with my husband . The first thing I thought was that finally we received the money and we are about to live a good life.

It is hard to get money at home, we have to work hard in others farm for $0.8 per day, Feeding my family is hard because our land is infertile
What is the happiest part of your day?
We feel secured in our village, and because It was time for harvest, we get enough food at home, my daughter gave birth in 6 months ago and all has done well, her and the baby are fine
What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
We will buy a cow of $150, we will renew our house with $ 300, we will buy matelas of $100, livestocks (pig and chickens) of $100 and use the rest buying food, clothes and shoes
