How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I have things I knew I could not afford on my own. I have a bed to sleep on and I will soon have a well built house
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Everything went well according to my option there is nothing that GiveDirectly did not do well. All processes were clear and I am very satisfied.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
When I recieved the money i bought poles to be used when roofing my new house; i bought 4 bags of cement as well as wires. I also went on and bought widow frames as well as door frames for the new house. I saved some money to buy bricks when time to build comes.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
That moment I was so happy and grateful..I saw that the Lord was with me and that my dreams of sleeping in a house with iron sheets will be fulfilled..
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
We now have enough food for the entire household as compared to how we used to eat in the past.. enough food I now sleep as a king with so much freedom and space..I have good beddings and clothes as well.. I also have hope that this year I will have high yields since I applied enough fertilizer to my crops..
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I used the money to buy iron sheets in order to improve my building,,I bought some items that will be used in maintaining my house such as Window flames and doors.. I have also used some of the money to purchase fertilizer for my garden as well as food for my entire household.. I have also purchased mattress,,clothes and beddings for me and my children..

We are so excited to receive this money and this whole thing really means alot to us.

I'm always happy in the morning hours because that's when I get to chat with my family.

The biggest hardship is having a stable source of income,We relay on farming and we feel like this money will help us to build something substantial in terms of business.
