Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment when i received my transfer i was really happy because i felt prevelaged to be one of recipients and also to receive such amount of money
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I have been doing piece works in this village such as tilling, harvesting and grading in order to make ends met but failed to acheive it. Life was really pathetic because very little income i earned had no impact on my family. Some moments i and my family would take only one meal per day due to lack of food. Now that i have received my transfer from GiveDirectly i have managed to buy food and iron sheets. These signify that my daily life is different from that of the past
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spent the money on 28 iron sheets which cost a total of MK160 000, 1 bag of graoundnuts seed and 2 bags of maize. I also saved part of the transfer for to be spent on other items in future
