How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I have long been dreaming of establishing my own business to help me further my education. I am 18 years old but I am in the 5th grade. I've been cutting palm and brushing people farms to sustain myself. Due to the difficulties and poverty I am experiencing in my life, I have not been able to achieve these goals. However, this cash transfer from GiveDirectly came at the right time to solve my problems. I'm going to use this money to establish my business to earn more money and educate myself for a better future.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I have been planning to improve my life and get a better education and better future but to no avail. GiveDirectly have put smile on my face because my life have changed positively. Due to this, in my opinion, GiveDirectly have done nothing wrong.

Starting a new business had been my plan. When I got my first transfer from GiveDirectly, I withdrew it and saved it because I need the money to be enough to accomplish my goals. Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
It was one Friday morning when I heard my friends and neighbors rejoicing that they have received their transfer from GD. I hurriedly ran to network area to check my because I was eager and Christmas was near. Blessedly for me, my transfer was also being sent by GD, I was overwhelmed with great joy!!
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Cutting palm and farming is the order of the day whether you like it or not. As young as I am, I was forced to do so because that is the only means of survival. I'm so blessed because of GD, I will soon be a bike owner and my hustle will change. So much to be grateful for. God bless GD.

A minute portion of my transfer was spent only on mattress to enable lay my head and feel comfortable. A huge portion of my transfer is being kept, I want to add my remaining transfers to enable me buy a bike to do business.
