What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent a portion of my third transfer on construction materials which I used to construct a more spacious house. The one I had before was very tiny to accommodate my family and whenever I had visitors, I had to request them to sit right outside the house, under a Cyprus tree. It was very embarrassing.....but had no otherwise. In fact, I had lost hopes of ever having a bigger house after all my attempts to acquire one had failed me. Were it not for Give Directly, I would not have been where I am today. Besides that, I purchased an additional sofa set to furnish the new house since the ones I owned previously had become so old and ugly.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to buy sand, cement, timber, round poles, nails, iron roofing sheets, cedar poles and barbed wire which I will use to establish a homestead, build a better house for my family and finally fence the piece of land where the homestead is situated.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is having joined a merry go round (informal savings group) and managed to buy a mattress and a blanket with the little money I saved.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I face right now is lack of enough money to start a small business selling fast moving consumer goods like soap, cooking oil and sugar. I normally do odd jobs for a living but the income is not enough to cater for my families basic needs but if I have a small business I can improve their living standards.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is around midday when I am having my lunch together with my friends as we chat, I am usually very relaxed and this makes me very happy.
