What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent 37000 KES of my third transfer on paying school fee for my children. I gave my spouse 5000 KES to boost his carpentry business and used the rest of the money on buying food for my family.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I managed to clear school fee for my children and they were able to sit for their final examinations. It was really challenging raising their school fee being that my spouse business had collapsed leaving us with no source of income so the only option we had was to sell some of our belongings to raise their fee because we couldn't let them drop out of school. Thanks to Gd we managed and spouse too has got his business back thus we now have a source of income.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Gd does well by giving recipients cash to decide on what to spend it on which has made people meet their needs. This is better as compared to giving people goods since people have different needs.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent 30000 KES on clearing the huge secondary school fees balance I had for my son and daughter to enable them settle down in school. I invested part of the balance on a cow that will save me during the rainy days in future and stocked food for my household to ensure daily supply.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My daily life has improved and is more peaceful since I cleared the huge school fees balance. I also have access to daily food.
