What does receiving this money mean to you?
This money means alot to me. My house fell on one side last year due to heavy rains. Since then, I haven't been able to source any money to renovate it. When I receive this money, I will make sure that I renovate my house. I will buy bricks for the wall and iron sheets to use as a new roof. In addition to that, I struggle to find food. My legs are lame but I manage to do some farm works. However, I don't have enough fertilizer to apply to the maize. As such, I will buy food as well. Most of the times, my brother whom I live with brings money after doing some piece works. When he finds $5, we use it to buy food for four days.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the last six months there is nothing that has brought joy in my life. If I were to accomplish my goal of building a new house and finding enough food everyday I would be happy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The main challenges I am currently facing is not finding enough money to buy food. The house I am living in now is in bad shape as well. Am afraid it might fall during the rainy season.
