Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I was in position to fit a door, windows in my house that was constructed earlier and I am currently sleeping in it. Furthermore, I was in position to acquire a bigger bed and mattress that are comfortable sleep. Prior to receiving this transfer, I didn't have enough money to buy a door and windows for my house because the money I could get was spent on children's education, I also had a small bed and mattress.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I received a notification message of mobile money at around 2:20 am. I became very happy in that I couldn't get back to sleep and immediately I started planning on how to spend it.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to purchase a door, 2 windows,10 bags of cement, utensils, clothes for the children, a blanket, a bigger bed plus mattress and paid school fees for my son. I have not yet spent UGX 400,000 I am planning to use it for renovating one of my old house.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means I will be able to complete the construction of my house, pay school fees for my children and provide household items in my family. These will support my family.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am happiest in the evening when my children are playing. It is a sign that they are healthy so I don't have to budget for medical bills.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I am faced with is lack of land for cultivation. Paying school fees, feeding and generally the maintenance of a household would have been made easier if I had land. I hire land to cultivate and sometimes do casual labour to provide for the family. This is very inconviniencing and less productive.
