How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My main goal is to build my own house because the one that I am living in right now belongs to someone else and I have eight children with me which makes it not comfortable anymore. Once I build my own house, my children will feel more comfortable and relax to do whatever they want to do as children. I also want to improve the business that I am doing right now because I know that it will help me alot to generate more money for my family.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly does well by being straight in their processes, they are also kind in talking to us during our interviews with them, they are very good me because they helping us unconditionally. I don't have anything bad to say about GiveDirectly because they have been doing only good to us.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
If I'm successful to receive this transfer, I will use some to build my own house, start a business inorder to sustain my family and pay school fees for my three children in secondary School. Three (3) out of six (6) of my children have been out of school for one year due to financial constraints. Even though I make farm to cater to my family, but the money I earned is not enough to send all my six children to school and build my own house. The money I earned from the farm is what I spend on food and pay three of my children school fees. The structure I live in is my spouse grandfather house, the family is insisting that we leave the house. I want to build my own house and send my three children back to school but there's no money.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the last six months what has brought joy or happiness is when my friend give me free bitter balls on October 3, 2021 that cost 300.00 Liberian Dollars. I was happy and started thanking God for what she did for my family and I, because I didn't have money to buy bitter balls to make soup and the fact that someone that is not my relative brought me bitter ball to make soup for my family and I to eat brought so much joy to me.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship I'm facing right now is the lack of money. My three children have been out of school for one year, and my spouse family is putting pressure on me to leave the house and I'm very uncomfortable with the condition I'm in. Even though I make farm to substain my family, but the money is not enough to maintain my family. Sometimes I fixed palm oil and sell to provide food for my family. I will really appreciate any help to improve my livelihood.
