What did you spend your second transfer on?
I bought sand at 15,000 KES, ballast at 12,000 KES and soil for 5,000 KES as part of materials to repair and plaster my house. I paid school fees (secondary school) for 10,000 KES, paid up a debt of 5,000 KES and the rest was spent on daily household expenses.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I used to go for calls of nature in the nearby bush, but since I got the transfers from GD I managed to construct a pit latrine and now am not worried about diseases due to poor sanitation. I am also relieved because I have been able to pay school fees for my child and therefore he is able to consistently go to school.
