How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
A LOT HAS CHANGED IN MY LIFE, FOR EXAMPLE MY CHILDREN DID NOT HAVE CLOTHES AND I AM BUILDING A HOUSE. I WAS VERY POOR BUT NOW THINGS ARE BETTER

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment i saw the notification message that i have received money from Givedirectly i was very happy and thankful to be part of this program, it was something i never expected to happen in my life
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
For so long me and my family having been living in poverty, we did not have things like a bed, and to find food everyday it has has been difficult for us, so when i received the money from Givedirectly i bought 2 bags of maize which has made a huge difference in our lives becasue now we are able to end three times aday unlike in the past where we could find fòod only enough to feed the chidren.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means I will be able to buy enough food to feed my family as I am currently spending some days without food forcing my children to beg from other peoples homes which I feel is not fair as I am struggling to provide for them
What is the happiest part of your day?
Any part of the day as long as I can feed my family for that day
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I did not harvest enough food last year as I dis not have money to buy fertilizers for my crops whicj affected my yields and this has made my family to suffer from hunger this year
