How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has totally changed in that, I have constructed a permanent house. I'm currently sleeping in my son's house which I share together with all my children and it can't accomodate all of us.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly has done well to empower the poor like me financially to build permanent houses. On the other hand, GiveDirectly has done everything well so far.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second on more building materials like iron sheets, bricks, cement etc paying off the builders and a debt of Ugx 400000.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is I used to sleep in alinking grass thatched house but now I'm constructing agood house for my self. Thanks to GD for making this possible.

Receiving this money means I will build my personal iron roofed house since the one I am occupying us for my son.

The happiest part of my day is in the afternoon when my children fetch for me water for domestic use.

My biggest hardship is taking care of my children since I lost my wife of late.
