How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than if I had not received this cash transfer in that I now have self esteem. Before, life was worrying and felt low self esteem.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Give Directly has done well by empowering rural communities to acquire basic necesities with unconditional cash transfers. I do not see what Give Directly has not done well.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second cash transfer for buying a cow worth 950,000ugx, two mattresses at 240,000ugx, clothes costed 95,000ugx. I bought a bicycle at 140,000ugx, I gave a gift of 50,000ugx and the balance of 157,000ugx, I used for buying food.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my life, is that I can now change diet in my family and purchase whatever I need as compared to before when life was hard.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I recieved the money,I became happy and felt well.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I have not yet spent my transfer but l plan to cement my house, purchase a cow and pay school fees for my children for next term.

The happiest part of my day is evnening when I am sitten with my children.

The biggest hardship which I face is poverty caused by the death of my spouse.
