Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The money arrived in the morning of a Thursday and i remember that i was sitting at home chatting with my relatives. I was so happy when the message came that i danced.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Right now i will have a house that i know i will leave behind for my children. All i am saying is thank you for all the help.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I used the transfer to buy bricks as well as ironsheets so that i build a house. I have a house but it is not secure enough as it is made up of unburnt bricks. I used some of the money to buy a mattres and blanket and also bought 2 bags of maize.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money really means so much to me,I'm so thankful for getting enrolled, with this money i will definitely improve a few things on this household such as having a good shelter, having sufficient food as well as good clothes,I'm really happy and i know i will be the happiest when i get the transfer.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I'm always happy in the afternoon because thats when i usually come back from the farm or job haunt,so usually i always bring with me a little food for the family so we are always happy that time.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I'm currently facing is of shelter,as you can see i live in a glass fatched house,i live a very pathetic life because during rain season i don't sleep at all because my house leaks so much that all my beddings always soaks in water. Secondly i don't have a permanent source of money such as a job or a business, yes i relay on casual labour and farming but i don't get money that can take us through a month, thats why i can't even afford good clothes, proper sleeping place and food.
