I spent my first transfer on buying a mattress at 3,000 KES, three blankets at 1,300 KES, a sack of maize at 3,500 KES, school uniforms for my three children at 1,100 KES, two pair of shoes then used the rest of the cash on food for the house.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
It has been hard for my husband to give us the basic needs like food, shelter clothing and basic education. This has made life a living hell since we do not have any relatives to run to.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Evening's makes me happy when am with my family sharing a meal together after doing some hustle during the day.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
This money means a lot to me, because I can now be able to build my own house and also raise my family in at least good living standard even though am my is a caretaker.
