How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I wanted to change the roof over my house and pay my children's graduation fees but I couldn't because I had no money. When the help came from Givedirectly, I was very much happy about it because I could not have worked and earn such amount of money. I was able to use portion of it to pay my graduation fees that I have been worrying about. The remaining portion of it, I used it to pay for my children's school fees because I need a better future them. The balance, I used it to buy some food for my house because I need my children and my wife to eat more and be healthy and also change the roof over my house and renovate it properly for the comfort of my family and I.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
With all my observations about GiveDirectly, I must admit, since the coming of GiveDirectly, i have never noticed anything that is not done well by GiveDirectly.
