How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Life is different than it would have been because I and children are nolonger sickly due to improved feeding in the family, and we can now afford to hire oxen to plough gardens to grow food crops hence more food at home. Before, I could not get grow enough food crops because one has to have money to hire oxen plough gardens, and the family used to feed only on 'Eboo' and 'Atap' every day, be it lunch or supper. Thanks to this money, I can now afford variety of food.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly has done well giving us money directly that has enabled build iron roofed houses, changing appearance of the village from grass thatched houses to iron roofed. It has also reduced the drinking habits in the village in that people are now spending time providing support to their families. I don't see anything it hasn't done well.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
My second transfer was spent to buy a cow, building materials such as cement, bricks, sand to complete build my house, and we bought food as well.
