How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I have peace of mind because I cleared the debt which I had got for paying school fees for my child. Before, I had a lot of stress because I had no source of income. In addition, I'm sleeping in a permanent house. In the post, I slept in a grass thatched hut.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly has done well by supporting me build permanent house and clear the debt I had. GiveDirectly has not done anything wrong.

I have spent my second transfer on purchasing building materials ( iron sheets, timber, cement,door ) worth UGX 1,016,000, Labour worth UGX 270,000, food (beans) worth UGX 46,000, paid a debt worth UGX 200,000 and transport worth UGX 100,000.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I have peace in my life because everything i have be planning is coming to fulfillment.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I first hard a lot of noise from the village and i was very confused but i heard them saying we are going to withdraw money. When i checked my phone there a MOMO message, I became very happy and praised God for such assistance. I never slept back till morning.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I bought construction materials @1166000 ugx, Fund-raised for church construction 170000 ugx, feeding 94000 ugx, Weeding 30000 ugx, Household items 100000 ugx and saved 140000 ugx.

The happiest part of my day is in the evenings when I am with my friends socializing and more so after doing work
