What does receiving this money mean to you?
My grandchildren currently live with me but I am not financially stable to send them to school. If I receive this cash transfer, I will use it to establish a business which will enable me to earn an income to pay the tuition of my grandchildren.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Securing food and other basic needs for my family have been so difficult for me. I am not physically strong to do hard labor jobs to meet our basic needs, which cause us to mostly depend on aid from others. Few months ago, a close relative of mine paid me a visit and gifted me some cash and a phone. I was so happy because what she gave us helped us greatly to get food to eat.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Due to my age, I can no longer do the hard labor jobs that I use to do to support my family. This situation has caused us not to have enough food in our home on a daily basis. This is the major challenge that I am faced with right now.
