How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Prior to receiving this transfer, I didn't have a house of my own. I rented a room at the trading center and this could not give me an opportunity to develop because most of the money I got was spent on rent. Upon receiving first money from GiveDirectly, I prioritized buying construction materials and when my second transfer was sent, it enable me pay construction workers. I am current sleeping in my own house and I have acquired two cows for milk and to help settle future needs.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly did well to give that big sum of money that I used to build an iron roofed house and buying cows. GiveDirectly only did well for me.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to purchase 2 cows and paying construction workers who built my house that I currently sleep in.
