How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is now different in that I own an ox. Previously, I found it difficult to plough my agricultural land on time since I had to wait for the people who owned oxen to finish ploughing there's before mine. This inturn led to poor yields and food shortage in my family.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly has done well by alleviating poverty in my family and community. There is nothing bad that it has done so far.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on food, building materials and medical. I plan to use the balance for plastering my house.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my life is that, I work less nowadays because I use oxen to plought. Previously, I overworked myself since I used premitive farming tools like hand hoe, an axe to till the ground. In addition to that I used to farm morning and evening which is not the case now because the oxen plough large portions. Finally, I now sleep on new and presentable beddings because I was able to acquire new mattress and bed sheets.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
When my phone vibrated at around midnight, I came outside and asked my children to check what it was since I don't know how to operate cell phone. When the children broke the good news to me of GiveDirectly's cash, I ululated danced and most especially I was so happy. If by any chance at that time there was any staff of GD, I would have hugged them.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I bought a bull for farming since I did not have any making plough difficult. I also bought groundnut seeds, Household items and Saved some for weeding.
