What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on plastering our 3 room house to make it more hygienic since it used to produce a lot of dust before and we often got jiggers. I spent 8,000 KES on a bed and mattress that we needed, as well as School uniform for one of our children.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I no longer need to repair my house using local materials which has also become hard to get this days. My house was also in poor condition which provided a breeding ground to pesticides such as lice and flee which were so dangerous to my family.

Having to pay school fees for my child who will be finalizing his secondary education this year.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the afternoon after most duties at home are done during the morning hours. I get time to interact with my friends in community meetings which we conduct mostly in the afternoons.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
I will be able to plaster my house as well as construct a latrine for my family. I am a Community Health Worker who should be a role model on matters of hygiene and sanitation that's why I am going to prioritize constructing a latrine.
