How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
before Give directly unconditional cash transfers I was afraid I will not produce enough food for my family in my farm due to unavailable of funds to buy fertilizer and seeds but now each time i go In my field I see vast and enough farm produce that i together with my family will eat for days

for along time i was worried where i was gonna found enough money to use on agriculture Give directly was a saviour it came just the rime when i almost gave so just after the money reflected in my airtel money account i went in town and i bought fertilizer and seeds for my farm I also bought food for my family and kitchen utensil

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was very delighted to see money in my account. It was unbelievable and my happiness exceeded my expectation.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I did not have food in my home and now that i have bought enough will take me through till another havest. We now are able to afford a comfotable sleep since i bought blankets for kids and who did not have any.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
The money that i recieve I bought mattress and blankets for me and my child to atleast have a comfortable sleep. Considering that it's rainy season, i bought fertiliser to apply it at my farm when we plant our crops. I further bought 20 bags of Maize because i did not have food in my home. I also kept some for school fees of my children.
